Disclaimer: This is merely a presentation of what I found in the writings and teachings of Islam. I am presenting the verses as they are written, nothing more, nothing less. I recognize that ‘not all’ follow these teachings and perhaps have a different interpretation.
Does Islam teach anti-semitism? Are some Muslims Anti-semitic? Why do we hear what clearly sounds like Anti Semitic remarks, a hatred for Israel, from people like Louis Farrakhan, Ilhan Omar, Linda Sarsour? Why is that nearly every country under Islamic law in the world is persecuting/killing Christians, Jews, polytheists, homosexuals, and anyone that is non-Muslim?
At the same time here in America we are told how hateful, and racist this country is by politicians and at times from the very same people who migrated here from these countries. Why does is seem here in America we are very concerned about persecution of Muslims specifically, to the point where if we critic Islam we get labeled a racist or islamophob? Further saying anything we risk getting removed from social media platforms. Many people/politicians keep defending Islam as a religion of peace, and conflate the religion/political ideology with a skin color. Islam is not a race.
I recognize the risk I am taking here but we should be allowed to read their own sources and determine for ourselves if this is in fact, a peaceful religion. As a Christian I must deny this religion as false as it denies the diety(I AM HE), crucifixion, and resurrection of our Lord God and savior Jesus Christ.
Everything written here is merely copy/pasted directly from their holy book. We never quote the Quran here in the U.S., the Muslims themselves never directly quote but they do say what it is written in them by their prophet.
The view on Jews, Christians, and other non-believers:
Qur’an 98:6 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture(Jews/Christians) and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
Qur’an 5:51— O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other.
Qur’an 9:73— O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them.
Qur’an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah(tax) with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Qur’an 9:30—The Jews call Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (In this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!
Tafsir Ibn Kathir (on Qur’an 9:30)—Fighting the Jews and Christians is legislated because they are idolaters and disbelievers. Allah the Exalted encourages the believers to fight the polytheists, disbelieving Jews and Christians, who uttered this terrible statement and utter lies against Allah, the Exalted. As for the Jews, they claimed that Uzayr was the son of God, Allah is free of what they attribute to Him. As for the misguidance of Christians over Isa, it is obvious.
Qur’an 9:123—O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.
Sahih Muslim 4366—Muhammad said: “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslims.”
Sunan Ibn Majah 2763—The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever meets Allah with no mark on him (as a result of fighting) in His cause, he will meet Him with a deficiency.”
